Polaroid Photos – by Avrora (Аврора Гум)

All the way from Moscow, Russia, we have an exclusive selection of Polaroid style photos by Avrora (Аврора Гум).  These photos are both beautiful and foreign at the same time, with an ambiance that makes us feel as though we are present with the subjects.  We simply love them!  Avrora’s photos truly reflect her eye for colour and a deep connection with her subjects on an emotional level.  The hazy, soft rendering of the photos remind us of a distant dream that lingers on forever with characters that never grow old while the slow burning forest keeps us warm in the peaceful isolation of the world.  Although she speaks little English, we had a chance to interview her and found that she appreciates the work of Tarkovsky, Wes Anderson, and Edward Hopper -very inspirational and fitting of the Shrill Cats aesthetic!
